Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), sometimes referred to as a day program or day treatment program, is a structured and intensive form of mental health or substance use disorder treatment that offers a level of care that falls between inpatient (hospitalization) and traditional outpatient care. PHPs are designed for individuals who require a higher level of support and treatment than what outpatient care can provide but do not need 24-hour supervision in a hospital setting.
